Blowdown expanders are produced according to the technological requirements of the boiler hroom based on the WUDT regulations in accordance with Directive 2014/68/EU.
Expanders reduce the heat loss which occurs when the blowdown is removed from the boiler.
After decompression, the condensate from the blowdowns is discharged to the cooler and then to the sewage system, while the heat of vaporization can be reused.
